Welcome to my Art blog
Introducing
MICHAEL LARSEN
ARTIST
ABSTRACT RESIN ARTIST
Born in New Zealand, I was surrounded by the natural beauty of the bush, lakes and ocean. Moving to Australia in 1980 I fell in love with the rustic natural colours of the Australian environment.
Having spent 40 years involved in the painting and decorating fields including faux finishes, I have always had an interest in the different methods of using colour and texture. This has evolved into a strong interest in the visual arts.
Recently I have been experimenting with the use of resin glass finish, the results of which I have found gives colour and depth that acrylic paints do not achieve.
I hope that this collection of my work inspires the observer as much as the pleasure it has given me.
Please enjoy.
